I will be honest.   I’ve seen movies try to narrate the stories of different, un-related characters, only to fail.   And Valentine’s Day looked like it was destined to fail.   It had too many characters, and too many stories.  It would not have time to connect all of them or flesh out their story.   The critics, as I read, didn’t like it either, and thought the same.

But I watched Valentine’s Day.  And it worked…
